This July 2021 testimony to the U.S. Congress by Loren Yager, Director, International Affairs and Trade for the U.S. General Accounting Office addresses the North American Free Trade Agreement Transitional Adjustment Assistance (NAFTA-TAA) program, which covers workers who lost their jobs due to increased imports from or a shift of production to Mexico or Canada.
