A 2022 edition of the Latin American Economic Outlook which explores options for the region to recast its production models, transform its energy matrix and create better jobs in the process. It argues that, for this transition to be just, stronger social protection systems and open dialogue must help build new, sustainable social contracts. In support of this ambitious agenda, the report presents an array of financing options, including green finance, and advocates for renewed international partnerships.

A 2020 report which draws on examples and literatures that are indebted to definitions of 'just transitions'. It considers how far five different countries (the US, Canada, Germany, Norway and Peru) have gone in terms of embedding the broad principles implied by ‘just transition’ in their plans, strategies, policies, and activities.

A 2014 journal which is focused on drawing the lessons from a few transition experiences in order to analyze how successfully (or not) these processes were managed in the past and how future transitions might be handled in a just manner. The articles all address one or several of the elements highlighted by the International Labour Conference (ILC) conclusions as part of the 'just transition' framework, and provide a rationale and solid justification for the use of these policies in the transition towards sustainability.
